Change display units and fan speed

Switch your Cala's screen between °F and °C and choose the fan speed that suits your installation.

You can show temperatures on your Cala's screen in °F or °C, and choose a higher fan speed if your Cala is connected to ducting. Both settings are on your Cala's screen, under ADVANCED.

Change the display units

  1. On your Cala's screen, press any button to wake it. The Home screen appears.

  2. Press Down until SETTINGS is highlighted, then press Select.

  3. Press Down until ADVANCED is highlighted, then press Select. The ADVANCED screen opens with UNITS: °F (or UNITS: °C) highlighted.

  4. Press Select. The button changes to UNITS: °C. Press Select again to switch back to UNITS: °F.

  5. Press Back twice to return to the Home screen.

Change the fan speed

Your Cala's fan normally runs at NORMAL FAN SPEED. Choose HIGH FAN SPEED only if your Cala is connected to ducting. It's a little louder, but gives better airflow and performance through the ducts.

  1. On your Cala's screen, open SETTINGS, then ADVANCED.

  2. Press Down until FAN SPEED is highlighted, then press Select. The FAN SPEED SETTING screen opens with your current speed highlighted.

  3. Press Up or Down until NORMAL FAN SPEED or HIGH FAN SPEED is highlighted.

  4. Press Select. Cala saves your choice and goes back to the Home screen.
